It has been nearly two months since our last updated and the adapted script for the short film has now been completed. The adaptation for the script included re-thinking settings different to that in the audio series so as to suit those of a modern-day city, as well as the presentation of 32nd technology and concept.

Over the next month or so, we will be focusing on set design/construction as well as costume design. With most of the characters' appearance now finalised, we will also be aiming to hold auditions sometime in the very near future.

Five people dead. A mysterious object. Time’s running out.
Can the crew work fast enough to avoid a catastrophe?

Something is definitely wrong when the crew receives a distress call from a commercial ship transporting military weaponry. As they investigate, they learn that a bomb has been left on the ship with several minutes left to detonation. With the evidence from the ship yet to be analyzed, the crew needs to decide how to dispose of the bomb without killing anyone on board the Evedar-Ling or destroying important evidence.

What begins as a simple peacekeeping mission ends in a complicated drug operation when the crew stumbles across a crime on Planet Cyrabyss. Witnesses have reported seeing a group of hooded beings with glowing green eyes within the area. Crime in this area has grown in the last couple of months - and they were all committed by glowing green-eyed hooded beings.

It soon becomes evident that the Emperor may be involved in the marketing of an illicit drug, Trinjun and the crew needs to get past Cryabryss’ law enforcement chief, Zudo Ja’al, to convict him.

STARPol Parallax

It's been almost 10 years in the making. After creating an audio series of the original concept, we are putting together our first ambitious short film based on the first episode of the series - Power of the Emperor. The idea for STARPol Parallax is to set the series in the modern world but use the 32^nd Century technology and government concepts of the original series.

The result is a short film set in a universe parallel to our own. It is hoped that this will one day encourage viewers of the short film to help us fund the series as it was originally intended - as a complete sci-fi series set in the 32nd Century with the emptiness of space as a backdrop.

The adapted script is nearing completion and production is scheduled to start in mid-2011. Over the next few weeks, we will be posting the six episodes of the series for download in the lead up to the film's tralier.
